DAR-ARMM Holds Regional Review and Planning Session

(Davao City, Philippines) Technical persons from the five Department of Agrarian Reform provincial offices (DARPOs), led by the respective provincial agrarian reform officers, in the autonomous region convened for a two-day technical advisory support services regional review and planning session (TASS-RPS), July 22-23, this city.

A technical team from the DAR –Central Office facilitated the sessions where each provincial office presented its first semester accomplishment report for CY 2015. The participants were introduced to the Support Service Office’s A to M list forms that will support in the delivery of targets. Workshops were also conducted on facilitating and hindering factors in the accomplishment  the targets of two major TASS components, the social infrastructure and local building (SILCAB) and sustainable agri-based and rural enterprise development (SARED).

Regional chief for support services division, Nasir Tumog, presented the regional consolidation accomplishment for the semester of the current year.

DAR-ARMM Regional Secretary Amihilda J. Sangcopan discussed the direction setting for plan enhancement and presented the thrust and directions of the Department using the three R’s mechanisms (redeem, re-engineer, revitalize). She rendered a report on how far the Department has gone in the implementation of its programs.

The provincial teams, led by their respective provincial agrarian reform officers, represented the beneficiaries’ development and coordination division while Soledad Peralta, of the Bureau of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Development, led the pack from DAR central office.
