As part of its food assistance program, Department of Agrarian Reform Employees Association (DAREA)-Lanao del Sur spearheaded by Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer (PARPO) II Engr. Mesug P. Unda released more than hundreds of relief packs to the evacuees and displaced farmers at Lacoto Ayaon National High School, Sawir, Masiu, Lanao del Sur. Eventually, Chief Agrarian Reform Program Officer (CARPO) Oding L. Ma-amor and DAREA President Salam Anzalna along with other employees joined in the activity.
The said displaced farmers are still affected by the armed conflict that happened months ago in the Municipality of Butig.
Every pack includes a kilo of rice, sugar, instant coffee, canned goods and noodles. It may be little to others but it means a lot farmers especially this holy month of Ramadhan.
