COTABATO CITY – The Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office – Maguindanao successfully conducted the turn-over ceremony of Livelihood Grant Assistance for Inug-ug ARC, Pagalungan on January 26, 2017 at the MLGU compound, Pagalungan, Maguindanao.
The project was composed of Rural Infrastructure, Seedling Nursery, Environmental Protection Works, Demo Farms and Livelihood Projects purposely to improve the quality of life of the ARC. Among the components of the IARCDSP is the livelihood project which involved provision of gardening and farming tools that will facilitate the ARBs farming activities and eventually boost production.
Present during the ceremony were the Honorable Municipal Mayor Salik P. Mamasabulod, CPMU AEDS Coordinator Emiterio F. Sanson Sr, and Cooperative Chairman Mustapha M. Mokalam. Also in attendance were members of the DARPO-Maguindanao team namely MARO Amina A. Ebrahim, Development Facilitator Aziza I. Lauban and PPMU-AEDS Coordinator Lydia S. Linso.
“Cooperation and trust with each other is very essential in attaining the cooperative’s purpose,” Honorable Mayor Mamasabolod said. He expressed gratitude to the DAR and IARCDSP for the continuous support to the Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries. He also reminded the beneficiaries to employ extra care to the farming tools given to them. (DARPO Maguindanao)
