TAWI-TAWI (November 6) In keeping with the commitment of transparency and genuine service delivery, a party from the DAR regional office led by Assistant Secretary Mamainte sat with DAR Tawi-tawi officials for a Municipal Agrarian Reform Officer (MARO) Assessment, on the same province. The event is part of the provincial visitation on agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) by the regional office.
DAR ARMM officials were welcomed by PARO Kresler Romero of DARPO Tawi-tawi.
All MAROs of the said province were present during the assessment. Each of them had the opportunity to report on the profiles and the achievements on their respective areas.
Following the reports, Ms. Jarra Radjid, DAR ARMM personnel division chief, handed a mentoring presentation. It discusses the overall progress and the direction of the agrarian reform programs.
Advises were later given on some of the concerns of the MAROs by the sitting panel of DAR region and DARPO officials.
The visit to Tawi-tawi by DAR ARMM is the first on the ongoing series of provincial ARBs visitation. It will be followed by Basilan, Sulu, Lanao and Maguindanao provinces.
