Socio-economic activity seen, after infra launching at Datu Abdullah Sangki
A social infrastructure project under Humanitarian and Development Assistance Program (HDAP) was formally launched after a groundbreaking activity in the municipality of Datu Abdullah Sangki (DAS), Maguindanao province, last November 11.
The recipient, Tukanalugong Agrarian Reform Community (ARC) of DAS, now has an undergoing construction of a warehouse and solar dryer to support the corn production worth P1.5 million.
The completion of these infrastructures is foreseen to revitalize the community and move towards economic activities. These infrastructures not only enhances their production, but also provides for household welfare of the ARPs.
The implementation is a comprehensive approach in uplift their condition from lagging behind with poverty and uproot them from the mishaps caused by armed activities and other calamities. That is consistent to the directive of having the HDAP.
The said multi-purpose building and socialized housing is under the social infrastructure project while the warehouse is one of the provisions of agricultural enterprise development (AED) component.
The ARPs remains hopeful true to the intention and in the initiation of the project in their community.
The ceremony started at 8 o’clock in the morning with the presence of the local government unit (LGU) officials, agrarian reform partners (ARPs), Regional Planning and Development Office – Project Management Office (RPDO-PMO) representatives, and regional and provincial officials of this agency.
