COTABATO CITY – The 2nd day of October marks the installation, turn-over of DAR-ARMM management, and acceptance ceremony of the newly appointed DAR Regional Secretary, Dayang Carlsum Sangkula-Jumaide, RN, MAN, MPA. One of the ceremony’s highlights was the acknowledgment of the former Secretary’s accomplishments. With her determination to lead the reform, the Agrarian Reformists continue their eagerness to give full cooperation and work together in the service of the Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs).
As a formal start of the ceremony initiated by the DAR Regional Administrative Officer, Hadji Sukarno Andal, he acknowledge the former Secretary’s initiative and her accomplishments in gaining genuine reform and is hopeful with the continuous process as the DAR-ARMM family moves forward with their current Secretary. Sir Andal thanked the division heads in working as one family. In behalf of the former Regional Secretary Sangcopan, he turned over the key of responsibility to the new Regional Secretary.
“To work for the progress of our Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries is a journey that we will walk together as one family.” Secretary Jumaide said.
Further, PARO I/Director for Support to Operations, Rebecca R. Bautista, turned over the three (3) books of accomplishments: The Transition Report entitled “The story of Us, 32 Beautiful Months, 3Rs and beyond”; Personnel Inventory, Plan, Property, and Equipment (PPE) Inventory which was assisted by CARPO Nasir Tumog and the Provincial Agrarian Reform Officers (PAROs) in the mainland, Maguindanao and Lanao del Sur, and Island Provinces, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi (BASULTA).
The event won’t take place without the presence and participation of several important personalities from the ARMM. Together with the ARMM Executive Secretary Atty. Laisa M. Alamia, who installed the new Secretary, Regional Planning and Development Office (RPDO) Executive Director, Engr. Baintan Adil-Ampatuan; Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Kadil M. Sinolinding, Jr., Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Assistant Regional Secretary Datu Abdelwin Sangkula; Regional Reconciliation and Unification Commission in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (RRUC-ARMM) Chairperson, Romeo Sema witnessed the installation.
The plaque of recognition was rendered by the DAR Employees Association President Arcilludin Ututalum, Jr. Subsequently, the program’s closing remarks was delivered by the Chief Operations, Datu Musiban Solano.
The day was a picturesque of success for the former and a milestone for the current leader of the progressive reform.
